Well, I wasn't expecting that...

Man, oh man, the numbers have jumped quite substantially around here.
Apparently "cardbored signs" are a hit.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by
and extra thanks to everyone who has stuck around
by dropping us in your blog readers
or bookmarks
or however else the internet allows you to keep checking us out.

If you haven't already checked out the main website of Saint Schizophrenia Studios
please take a few minutes to do so.
That's where you'll find a gallery some more of my work as well
as the work of my brother, The Amazing Tumnus.
Our other brother, Daedalus Jones has a spot for his writings,
but he's yet to do anything productive with that as of yet.

We've got a lot more work left to show
so, y'all come back now, ya hear?

Another aside...answers abound

So, we're XVII deep into this project (that's 17, btw)
and I've gotten some good responses
and I feel like it's well worth continuing.
However, some of the responses have also been
"I don't get it.",
which is fair, I guess.
I haven't known exactly how to handle the issue
of explaining the meaning behind the pieces.
I don't want to leave people for scratching their heads
for too long or they'll just get bored with me
and move on,
but, I also don't want to be the guy who tells a joke
and then proceeds to explain it and elbow you in the ribs going
"Get it? Get it? Hur hur hur..."
before you've even had a chance to gnaw on it for moment.
I still don't really know how to do it on a permanent basis.

However, today, in order to meet the needs of those of you
who are faithfully checking my work out but occasionally
stuck thinking "What the hell is wrong that boy?!"
I am going to provide for you the answer key
for the preceding seanerisms.
It's kinda like having the Teachers Copy of a textbook.
(which was like the coolest thing ever back in school. Am I right?)

Before I spoil them all, I'll give you a tip:
The title is almost always the solution. You just need to say it a few times.
Slow it down. Listen for other words hidden in the phrase.
It's very often just one step away, or two at the most.

Ok, here's the SPOILER NOTICE.

seanerism key I- XVII

I
Frozen Entree - 'Fro Zen On Tray

II
Nicholas Cage - Nickel-less cage

III
La Cosa Nostra (Italian mafia) + Nostradamus

IV
That's Peculiar - P, Q, General Robert E. Lee, R
(This is what it would look like if Lee were a letter in the alphabet. Peculiar.)

V
El Camino - Elk Amino
(that really is how an amino acid is formed, I Googled it.)

VI
One Fine Day - One Find A

VII
No puzzle here, just passing the time while in the hospital with my son.

VIII
Undeterred - Undie turd
(Classy, I know.)

IX
Acht - German eight- Germinate
(Wish I had made this number VIII, not IX. Oh well, live and learn.)

X
Have A Nice Day - Halve an iced A

XI
Cyclops - Psych Lops
(Bunnies in straight jackets are funny.)

XII
Quesodillo = Quesadilla + Armadillo
("Why?" Really? You're just asking that now?)

XIII
Not a puzzle, just a shot at a REALLY annoyingly saccharine line of books.
(Very happy that this one was number XIII on Friday the 13th
AND it has to do with serial killers. That's some genius planning.)

XIV
New Orleans - New oar leans.
(just for the record, I DO NOT pronounce New Orleans like this,
but the concept is King in these cases.)

XV
I wonder who called me - Star 69
(Only slightly ashamed for my sophomoric humor.)

XVI
10:20 - Tent whinny

XVII
There is a fine line between genius and insanity.
Maybe it even overlaps in places.

So, there ya go.
I hope that helped.

Until next time...
