XXV (More Cardbored Signs)

This fits in with homeless and hungry, right?

After the first Cardbored Signs was posted,

nearly everyone asked

"How much did you make?".

No one offered, nor would I have accepted.

It's all fun and games, you know?

Someone stopped today,

the driver's hand reaching out the passenger's window.

I nearly just waved him on with a smile

until I realized that the grinning face behind the hand

was that of my friend, fellow artist and occasional mentor,

Mark Deraud.

Sandi (my wife and photographer) snapped this pic

as he dropped 45 cents in my hand.

Did I keep it?
